- Stop taking notes altogether
- Instead, keep going back to the original sources (not your secondary sources)
- Make your goal to learn the information now, not to create a new resource (your notes) that helps future you learn the information later
- Kind of mind-blowing, actually, how insightful that difference between learning and creating is
- Do I want to create and publish? Or do I want to learn?
- Either is fine, but don’t confuse them
