Fixing static sound when connecting to a Mac, iPad or iPhone

Try each step in order, checking after each one if the static sound is gone by connecting the AirPods to the device:

1. Restart the device
2. Toggle Bluetooth off, then back on
3. In Settings > Bluetooth, forget and then re-pair the AirPods Pro by following these instructions
4. Reset the AirPods Pro by following these instructions
